We "rescue" fruit that grows in backyards in the city of Edmonton that is not being used by the homeowner. We make jams, jellies, sauces and condiments where 60 - 100% of the fruit used is 'rescued". The recipes are created by our chef and everything is made here in Edmonton using traditional small batches made by hand. We offer employment to local people, use what grows locally and is 'forgotten', reduce waste by using what grown naturally and try to compost and recycle all that we can. Our motto - "Forgotten urban fruit made unforgettable" summarizes it all. We create unique flavours such as Lime Cardamom Apple Jelly, Moroccan Cherry Jam, Saskatoons in Summer Fruit Jam, Raspberry Pear Rhubarb Jam, Hickory and Hops BBQ Sauce, Chipotle Rhubarb Ketchup and even have a Crimson Marmalade that complies with our mandate of using 60% locally rescued fruit.
