Get some vinotherapy in the shower! Made with our own homemade red wine reduced to concentrate, this deep burgundy soap is luxury in a bar! High in antioxidants, red wine is commonly used in anti aging products- so indulge, wine lovers, wine is good for you! To mimic the smell of wine’s oak barrel aging process, our Merlot Soap is infused with Cedarwood essential oil and phthalate and paraben free Vanilla fragrance. Because of the high sugar content in wine, this soap produces a large and rich lather.
High in nutrients such as vitamin A, B1, B2, D, E, and Beta carotene, our soaps (unless otherwise noted) are made with with coconut oil, olive oil, shea butter, sunflower oil, grapeseed oil, and castor oil. Here’s what that means:
Avocado Oil is provides the vitamins A, B1, B2, D, E, and Beta carotene which are vital for skin health. This oil is high in unsapponifiables (oils that the lye does fails transform into glycerin) and helps add to the emollient quality of our soaps.
A natural humectant (seals in moisture) that also provides a rich and bubbly lather to our soap.
Coconut oil provides the cleansing power of our bars, but also helps to produce a sudsy lather and hardens the bar.
High in anti oxidants and linoleic acid, grapeseed oil is also known for moisturizing and added creaminess to the lather.
Our soaps are made with 35% percent olive oil. A versatile oil, contributing to hardness, creaminess of lather, cleansing, and moisturizing properties. Be sure to try our classic Castile bar, a soap recipe dating back hundreds of years that’s 100 percent olive oil!
SHEA BUTTER OIL
Shea butter is famously known for excellent moisturizing properties. High in Essential Fatty Acids, (stearic and oleic acid), Shea Butter is a humectant that penetrates the skin to keep it hydrated long after use.
Sunflower Oil, like avocado oil, has high amounts of Vitamins A, B, D and E, and unsaturated fatty acids.
