Prickly Pear Cactus

Price: $20.00

Description

Our parent stock comes from collected seed from southern Ontario. A Canadian native succulent similar to the wild cacti found in pockets throughout Alberta. These are among the hardiest of cacti and in the right conditions in well drained soil, they may overwinter. They also make wonderful low maintenance indoor plants that provide edible fruit. The pads can also be grilled and cactus jelly can be made from them.
