  • Business Story: Hi, I'm Ryan, thanks for stopping by to read my profile. So the story behind Mish Mash Metal... I am from Ireland and moved to Canada 3 years ago. Alberta has been going through a tough few years work wise so it was either start up this business and try and make it doing my own thing or decide to go home. I'm to stubborn to give up easily ;) so in June 2016 I started this up. The name Mish Mash Metal came about when thinking of something catchy I remembered the jeans I always bought from my aunts clothes shop.. Mish Mash. Along with me using a mish mash of metal and wood for a lot of the pieces it just kind of worked. At markets I'm often wearing a pair of those jeans and when people ask me about the business name I just point to the jeans haha Incorporating new designs into old materials. I do this by using a mix of scrap metal and reclaimed wood for the majority of my pieces. There are many materials that can be reworked with a little bit of effort, so instead of throwing them out they get a new lease of life on your wall What I Can Also Offer You.. Custom design is also an option. If you have an idea in mind, I would love to bring it to life for you.
