ZypChicks chooses to use bags that are bio-degradable.
Hemp is a low input crop which doesn't require herbicides or pesticides. It doesn't require a lot of water to grow and in the process, hemp chokes out weeds in the fields.
Hemp also sequesters more CO2 and releases more Oxygen than the equivalent acreage of forested land.
It is truly an amazing plant.
Every part of the plant can be used to make products from food, to oil, to blue jeans, to compostable plastics to high tech batteries.
