Metal Wall Art Tree Living Room Decor – Tree of Life – Celtic Knot – Tribal Art
Tree of life finished with a Celtic knot style. For this piece in the main profile picture I have applied a patina finish that fades into a silver at the top of the piece. An alternative finish is to have the full grinded finish as seen in the other Celtic tree listing on my shop page. The light reflects of this and shines brightly from differing angles.
Measuring 20” in diameter, it is made from 12 gauge metal and is 3lbs in weight. It has been clear coated to protect the finish. This can be hung indoors or out. If outdoors, eventually, it will continue to rust as the elements penetrate the clear coat. You can either leave it to continue changing or apply a new layer of protection.
Below I have attached a link to the same tree, only with a different finish, if you would like to compare 🙂

Helping reduce the amount of recycling of old material. With a little bit of effort you can do many things to give a new lease of life to old materials. Much of the old grey bran wood I use is from a 1912 Calgary hotel that was taken down. The metal for many of my pieces is scrap metal off cuts sourced from weld shops in the surrounding area.
Yes Calgary and surrounding area
I'm Ryan, thanks for stopping by to read my profile. So the story behind Mish Mash Metal...
I am from Ireland and moved to Canada 3 years ago. Alberta has been going through a tough few years work wise so it was either start up this business and try and make it doing my own thing or decide to go home. I'm to stubborn to give up easily ;) so in June 2016 I started this up. The name Mish Mash Metal came about when thinking of something catchy I remembered the jeans I always bought from my aunts clothes shop.. Mish Mash. Along with me using a mish mash of metal and wood for a lot of the pieces it just kind of worked. At markets I'm often wearing a pair of those jeans and when people ask me about the business name I just point to the jeans haha
Incorporating new designs into old materials.
I do this by using a mix of scrap metal and reclaimed wood for the majority of my pieces.
There are many materials that can be reworked with a little bit of effort, so instead of throwing them out they get a new lease of life on your wall
